We understand trying any new place can be a bit overwhelming and stressful. We also understand what it is like to leave one church (family) and try to find another. With this in mind, here are some answers to some of the most common questions on what to expect.
What is it like?
Prayer time is an open time to share prayer requests or praise reports with the congregation.
Worship time is worship through the singing of songs to music. We play a mix between contemporary christian and hymns.
Following our regular service is a time of fellowship and community building through the act of "breaking bread" together, or to share a meal with one another. This is potluck family style dinner. At no time must you bring a dish to share in this meal. The point and focus of the meal is to build and cultivate community.
What about my kids?
During service children stay with their adults during prayer and worship and then are dismissed to "Kid's Church." Kid's Church is currently for kids 4 - 12. We ask that any child over the age of 12 help Miss Jen with the lesson or to stay with the adults in service.
Where do I park?
Parking is available behind the church building or in the parking lot 2 buildings down at 18 Main St. Robbinsville NJ 08619, the State Farm Insurance Office / Beth Egan Lodge Family Dentistry.
What do I wear?
Refuge Church does not have a dress code or expectation of style. It is possible to see someone in slack and a polo shirt sitting next to another in a t-shirt, shorts and flip-flops. We ask that you come as you are.
