At age 16 Patrick was kidnapped and forced into slavery. Patrick's time as a slave, herding sheep along the hills of Ireland, would be the forge that the Lord used to prepare him for what would come next. Pastor Marc reminds us that we are not merely God's creation, but we are His very Masterpiece. Just like a blacksmith uses a forge to form and strengthen metal, God uses our storms to form, strengthen and prepare us for His plan in our lives.
