In July of 1776 fifty six men came together to sign the Declaration of Independence. As they signed this document they each pledged to the other,
"For the support of this declaration, with firm reliance on the protection of the divine providence, we mutually pledge to each other, our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.”
When it comes to spiritual independence, we must first depend on God and then interdepend on another.
