On the surface, the "good" in Good Friday appears to be quite ridiculous. Until we realize that the "good" is intended to reference the purpose of Friday and not the circumstances of it. From the Pharisees to the cross and everything in between, it all had purpose. There isn't a thing that exists that doesn't have a purpose; including our lives.
