Throughout Jesus' life and ministry we often see him go up or away to places by himself. One of the places that stand out more than others is the Mount of Olives. The Mount of Olives is a common from David running from Absolom to Jesus go to pray and commune with the Father just before His arrest and when he ascended to heaven. It appears that this mountain was a clear place of preparation.
Often times we are not prepared in the peaceful and still place of the field but on rough terrain of the mountains we are climbing. God will ordain the place of our prepation, but is on us to listen and obey so that we may walk through the procees of preparation.
