Often we see idols in our lives being things that we enjoy, we like, or we desire. The facts are that anything that we prioritize in our lives over our relationship with God becomes an idol, even the not so good circumstances in our lives. The daily grind of life, the dust, that no matter how much we deal with it, it is there the next day. When we allow the dust to become gnats it can infect our spiritual lives.
